The management group of the project meets approximately twice a year in different places of the Vaasa area and sets work groups for different tasks. The chairman of the management group is Reijo Kallio, the researcher, from the computer center of the University of Vaasa, the vice-chairman is Anneli Ketonen, the school inspector, from the provincial board of Western Finland and the secretary is Vuokko Palonen, the library director, from Vaasa University Library. The names and contact information of other management group members can be found in the list of contact persons.

The aim of the project is to link all library databases of the area to the common electronic library. The development of user interfaces is followed with great interest. The electronic collection of the history of the library is constantly being extended, and new services and development projects are established among the participants of Sukkula.

The Vaasa University Library is responsible for the development of Sukkula.
