Tritonia’s library card is primarily digital. The card is personal, and the borrower is always responsible for the material they borrow. If you have any questions about the library card, please contact loans@uwasa.fi.
The students and staff of the University of Vaasa and Novia create the card in the Tuudo app, whereas the students and staff of VAMK, students of other higher education institutions and other customers fill out an online form.
1. Create your library card
Customers using the Tuudo app (University of Vaasa and Novia)
If you are already Tritonia’s customer, your card will automatically appear in Tuudo. If you are a new student, create your library card by selecting Student services -> Library -> Add a card and follow Tuudo’s instructions.
If you are a staff member, first create your library card with the library card form. Log in using your university’s HAKA credentials. You can add your card to the Tuudo app when your card is ready.
Students and staff (VAMK) and other customers with HAKA credentials
Create your library card by using the library card form where you log in with your HAKA credentials. The system will automatically generate a library card number, which will appear on the screen. It will also be sent to the email address you entered on the form. Save the card number in case you do not receive the email.
Customers who do not have HAKA credentials
Fill out the library card form without HAKA authentication. Come to the library approx. three days after filling out the form. You will receive your library card number and PIN code and can then use the digital library card. Remember to bring your passport or ID card. If you have any questions, please contact us by email loans@uwasa.fi.
2. Set a PIN code for your library card
Create a PIN code for your card in your university’s Tritonia Finna search service (see links below). Fill in your library card number and the same email address you entered in Tuudo or the library card form.
You will receive a link to set the PIN code to your email. Note that the link will not open correctly if you are logged in to Tritonia Finna. Click the link and set a five-digit PIN with no letters or special characters.
3. Add your library card to Tritonia Finna
Use your HAKA credentials to log in to your university’s Tritonia Finna. Connect your library card to your Tritonia Finna account by adding the card number and PIN code. After connecting, you will see information related to your library card such as loans, reservations etc. whenever you log in with HAKA credentials to Tritonia Finna.
Changing the PIN code
You can change your current PIN code yourself in Tritonia Finna under Your Account -> Profile. If you do not have a PIN or have forgotten it, you can create a new code via Tritonia Finna, see instructions behind the link below.
Changes in address and personal information
If your personal information has changed or your card has been lost, you can report it by email to loans@uwasa.fi or at the library during service hours.
You can change your address yourself in Tritonia Finna. Log in to your account, select Profile and Request address change. The request is forwarded to the library staff who will make the changes.
