In Tritonia, you will find many spaces for reading, working and studying, bookable group study rooms, a multifunction room, a self-service café area and a journal reading area. The library is accessible with sliding doors and a ramp.
Tritonia is divided into different sound zones. See more detailed maps below.
Study facilities
The second floor of Tritonia is reserved entirely for working and studying. In addition to the group study rooms, there are sofas, meeting modules, a wall-length table (37 seats) and a high desk with high stools.
Quiet reading room
In the room reserved for work requiring concentration, you will find 14 workstations separated by screens. Several workstations have a widescreen display to which you can connect your device. There are also two height-adjustable electric desks.
Multipurpose room
You cannot book the multipurpose room L201, but you can use it for group work or studying when it is available. There are several customisable tables and a big screen to which you can connect your device with the ClickShare Button. You can borrow the button from the custodians’ info desk.
Group study rooms
On both floors of the library, there are three bookable group study rooms. They all have a screen and a whiteboard.
You can book a group study room for max. two hours at a time. Reservations can be made for the next starting hour and up to two weeks in advance. The rooms are for groups only, and booking requires borrowing rights to Tritonia.
Group study rooms can be booked during the library’s opening hours but can be used at other times too. You can cancel your reservation via the link in the booking confirmation email. If you do not receive any confirmation message for some reason, cancel the reservation by sending email to tritoniareservations@uwasa.fi.
