Tritonia’s strategy

Empowering the knowledge of tomorrow

Tritonia’s strategy is based on the strategic guidelines of the University of Vaasa and supports the achievement of their goals. Joint strategy work strengthens Tritonia’s role as a developer of services, partner and promoter of expertise in the scientific community. The strategy also provides direction for the development of a joint academic library of three higher education institutions.

Tritonia’s strategy 2025-2030

Tritonia’s strategy 2025–2030 has been prepared as part of the joint strategy work of the University of Vaasa, and it supports the achievement of the university’s strategic goals as well as our operations as a joint academic library of three higher education institutions. The strategy is implemented as a continuous process that is reviewed and updated annually.

At Tritonia, our operations are guided by a strong spirit of community, competence and service. We want to be an open and easily accessible centre of knowledge where everyone gets support for their learning, research and development of their own expertise. We build our services together with customers and continuously develop our operations to meet changing needs.

Mission

Tritonia enables high-quality studying, teaching and research by offering our higher education institutions versatile information resources as well as teaching and guidance in information searching in three languages. We are a public scientific library that supports the work of the scientific community and promotes the accessibility of reliable information.

Tritonia’s proactive services and versatile information resources inspire studying, teaching, research and integration into work life. Through our expertise, we are an integral part of the university community and strengthen the impact and international competitiveness of regional operators.
