Congratulations on your study place and welcome to Academic Library Tritonia!
We will provide you with the materials you need for your studies and also help you in information retrieval. We are a joint library of the University of Vaasa, VAMK and Novia and we primarily serve the students and staff of our universities.
We serve on campus at Wolffintie 34. The building is open every weekday from 8 a.m to 6 p.m. and as a student you have the opportunity to obtain an access key to the library, which allows you to study in the library outside of opening hours.

We have extensive electronic and printed collections, a variety of study spaces and bookable group study rooms. During your studies, you can enjoy snacks at the self-service café or buy coffee or a small treat at our vending machines.
Get a library card so you can borrow printed books and other material. With your HAKA credentials, you can use e-resources even at home.
Borrowing printed books is done at self-service machines and books can be returned to a return machine or a return chute, which is open when the library is closed.
A lot of useful information can be found in the library guides. The guides contain general information about e-books and their use, information retrieval and responsible research, for example, but also useful are the subject guides, which have collected links and materials that are useful for your studies.
We don’t have computers for customers, so everyone brings their own device. You can print from your own device to the printer on the first floor. At Tritonia, printing costs up to 30 cents per page, but in the facilities of your own university you can print by using the printing quota.
In the Tritonia Finna search service, you can search for printed and electronic materials with the same search. Once you have attached your library card to your Tritonia Finna account, you can also renew your loans and make reservations.
